Biograph Horizon enables our physicians to visualize small lesions early. The system provides higher resolution and better image quality, which is valuable for many indications, like lung cancer – the most common PET/CT test. The system’s efficient high-contrast, high-resolution PET/CT with Time-of-Flight helps our medical team identify additional diagnostic procedures, supporting improved patient outcomes, lower procedure costs, and reduced liability risks.
To increase productivity and time spent with patients, Biograph Horizon simplifies our staff’s daily routine and lets us get back to patient treatment. For example, we can run quality control procedures overnight, scans can be performed in as fast as 5 minutes, and reconstruction runs alongside acquisition for image delivery just 30 seconds after the scan. Advanced Sonomammography with ACUSON Maple Ultrasound System
The ACUSON Maple Ultrasound System is a high‑performance platform designed to handle a wide range of breast and small‑parts imaging applications. It delivers high‑resolution images with excellent penetration and features AI‑powered tools that reduce repetitive tasks and provide consistent measurements and annotations. With more than 25 advanced features and 15 available transducers, ACUSON Maple offers the versatility needed for breast, thyroid, lymph‑node and soft‑tissue evaluations.
Beyond eliminating radiation exposure, the system provides real‑time visualization of tissue structures and helps detect abnormalities early, especially in women with dense breast tissue or as a supplement to mammography. Features such as Speed of Sound—adjusting sound speed to match specific tissue types—and eSieImage Optimization which automatically fine‑tunes imaging parameters, improve resolution and boundary definition. Mammography with MAMMOMAT Revelation
MAMMOMAT Revelation is a digital mammography platform featuring a unique 50° wide‑angle tomosynthesis that offers the highest depth resolution on the market . The tomosynthesis captures multiple images as the tube sweeps over the breast; these are reconstructed into a 3D volume and displayed as slices, separating tissue layers to enhance lesion visibility. The Insight 2D synthetic visualization provides both 2D and 3D images, allowing easy comparison with previous studies while reducing radiation dose by up to 40 %. Meanwhile, PRIME technology cuts the dose by up to 30 % without sacrificing image quality.
The system offers personalized soft compression, SoftComp paddles and OpDose to automatically adjust compression and minimize discomfort while ensuring consistent image quality. An integrated InSpecttool delivers specimen scans in just 20 seconds, and Insight BD provides direct breast density assessment for immediate risk stratification.
