For more than 35 years, Dr. Carlos Remedios has dedicated his life to the treatment of Cancer. Finishing his doctorate in the prestigious Ponce School of Medicine and continuing his specialty as the Chief Resident of the Department of Radiation Oncology at The Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Remedios acquired thorough professional training in the field of oncology.
Patients across the island have benefited from his wealth of expertise, and he has invested much of his time in educating current and future generations of medical professionals worldwide. One of his most notable specialties is Prostate Brachytherapy, for which he had Brachytherapy Fellowship at the renowned Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. He has also spoken frequently about the subject at many medical events and seminars.
